  • Team Leadership: Train and manage the food department staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they follow best practices for food safety and customer service.
  • Sales and Promotions: Monitor sales performance, implement promotions, and work to increase profitability within the food section, analyzing sales data to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring product availability, maintaining a positive and welcoming store environment.
  • Vendor Relations: Work with food vendors to negotiate pricing, manage deliveries, and ensure high-quality products, building strong relationships to drive business growth.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain compliance with local health regulations and company policies regarding food handling and sales, identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure a safe and compliant food operation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in food management or retail food operations (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and drive sales.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
