Job Summary
Denco Family, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Associate to join our team in Littleton, CO. The Front Desk Associate serves as the primary point of contact for guests during their stay, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience. This role involves managing guest reservations, processing check-ins and check-outs, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the guest's visit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Welcome guests and manage room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever feasible.
2. Assist with pre-registration and room blocking for reservations.
3. Adhere to established credit and cash-handling policies.
4. Maintain an understanding of room status and tracking procedures.
5. Be knowledgeable about room types, locations, and pricing.
6. Utilize suggestive selling techniques to promote room bookings and hotel services.
7. Collaborate with housekeeping to ensure accurate room status updates.
8. Manage reservations, including same-day and future bookings, while understanding cancellation policies.
9. Organize and file room keys appropriately.
10. Operate front office equipment efficiently.
11. Facilitate guest check-outs and process all charges accurately.
12. Follow procedures for safe deposit box management.
13. Exhibit proper telephone etiquette and handle mail and messages correctly.
14. Stay informed about daily hotel activities through the pass-on log and bulletin board.
15. Attend departmental meetings to stay updated on policies and procedures.
16. Coordinate maintenance requests with the engineering team.
17. Report any unusual occurrences to management.
18. Be knowledgeable about safety and emergency protocols.
19. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
20. Be flexible with shift assignments based on business needs.
21. Process reservations in accordance with company policy.
22. Perform laundry duties as per brand standards.
23. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
24. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
