Position Summary:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of key departments, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly financial closing process for the Marketing & Communications and Sales Operations cost centers, including the preparation of journal entries and variance analysis.
- Lead the forecasting and budgeting activities for assigned cost centers and projects, collaborating closely with leadership teams across various functions.
- Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of spending within cost centers and projects, focusing on return on investment to support strategic decision-making.
- Present financial insights and findings to senior executives, including the CFO and VPs of relevant departments.
- Manage demo fleet operations, including inventory audits and compliance checks.
- Support operational issue resolution as needed and drive automation initiatives within your area of responsibility.
- Maintain continuous communication with global teams to ensure alignment and share best practices.
- Engage in special projects that support executive leadership.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience. An MBA in Finance, CPA, or CFA designation is preferred.
Essential skills include:
- Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail to identify financial trends and variances.
- Proven ability to extract insights from large datasets and present them effectively to senior management.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive service-oriented mindset.
- Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in SAP (or other ERP systems), MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jedox, PowerBI, Qlik, and programming skills in VBA or similar languages is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with cultural sensitivity.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages, particularly German, is a plus.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000 annually, with the potential for an annual incentive target of 10% of base pay. Siemens Healthineers provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness programs, paid time off, and holiday pay.
