Job Title: Network Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Analyst to join our team at the City of Issaquah, WA. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and support network infrastructure
  • Install and support servers; manage all restoration protocols
  • Install and configure new network hardware, systems, and software
  • Assist with project planning and implementation
  • Configure and maintain network services, equipment, and devices
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and upgrades
  • Monitor network connections and operations
  • Monitor and maintain cybersecurity tools
  • Administer user accounts, security permissions, anti-virus, and email
  • Administer cybersecurity program
  • Monitor and respond to help desk tickets
  • Provide training and technical support for users
  • Monitor server logs and system performance
  • Install and configure operating software
  • Provide and maintain current documentation for server, printer, and scanner resources and schematics for planning structural changes
  • Maintain licensing and warranty information
  • Monitor and maintain automated backup systems
  • Create, test, and maintain the continuity of operations plan
  • Maintain shared printers and other equipment
  • Maintain mobile device management system
  • Implement and support other IP-based systems such as cameras, door security, etc.
  • Respond to requests for reconfigurations and customization
  • Maintain infrastructure accounts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with a major in information systems, business information systems, business administration, or a closely related field, or professional certification including CISSP, CISM
  • Three years of experience managing network systems, servers, and security; or any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Working Conditions:

Work is primarily performed in an office environment, with occasional travel to other facilities. May lift up to 50 pounds.
