Job Description
The Technical Support Specialist will deliver expert assistance for specialized systems and product applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced diagnostics on software-driven electronics.
- Provision communication system infrastructure.
- Optimize performance of RF and Broadband architectures, including legacy analog and advanced digital P25 systems.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain, enhance, test, and document intricate communication systems.
- Execute preventative maintenance routines to ensure optimal system functionality, focusing on trend analysis and documentation.
- Manage server hardware/OS and software infrastructure, troubleshooting to resolve system/application issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and sales teams to effectively support advanced communication systems that meet or exceed client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Network+, CompTIA, or similar certification is highly desirable.
- Proficient in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer networks, including cabling, routers, switches, firewalls, and bridges.
- Understanding of RF, telecommunications, and wired communication systems, such as LAN and WAN.
- Knowledge of computer systems (hardware, operating systems, and applications) and intermediate networking skills.
Familiarity with testing equipment (e.g., T1 and Ethernet testers, antenna system analyzers, communications systems analyzers, spectrum analyzers, cable testers, wattmeters) is essential. Experience with logging systems, RF interfaces, and networking equipment is preferred. Knowledge of LTE or Private LTE systems, including Nokia, Juniper Routers, and Aruba Switches configuration is advantageous.
We seek self-motivated individuals who can quickly adapt to new technologies. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Additional Requirements:
- A valid driver's license with no traffic violations.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must obtain a government security clearance within a specified timeframe.
