Position Overview:

Are you dedicated to enhancing the lives of children with developmental challenges? Join our committed team at Early Autism Services as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). We are looking for motivated individuals from various backgrounds to deliver tailored 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children aged 2-11 in a nurturing atmosphere. Early Autism Services is devoted to providing the necessary training to advance your career as a BT and refine your skills as an RBT. You will receive mentorship and oversight from seasoned Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and supervisors. Therapy sessions may occur in diverse environments, primarily in clinics, but occasionally in clients' homes or community settings. This engaging role demands both physical and mental agility, offering interactive experiences with your clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Provide direct one-on-one assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor individual progress and inform decisions.
  • Assist in creating and executing personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and team members to ensure effective intervention implementation.
  • Regularly communicate with parents, caregivers, and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of sessions and progress reports.
  • Participate in ongoing supervision and training sessions for professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Registered Behavior Technician certification or completion of the 40-hour BACB modules is desirable.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire.

Physical Requirements:

Physical capabilities include walking, occasional running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, reaching overhead, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
