Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational initiatives related to nursing across various clinical settings.
- Act as a strategic consultant for nursing performance initiatives, creating and evaluating competency-based programs and clinical performance.
- Collaborate with leadership and staff to identify nursing educational needs and competencies.
- Develop, implement, and assess nursing and clinical educational programs.
- Utilize various methods and tools to evaluate the achievement of learning objectives.
- Consult on the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Nursing Professional Development (NPD) programs that support core nursing competencies.
- Manage performance and competency standards for inter-professional programs to ensure practice at the highest licensure level.
Qualifications:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Registered Nurse license required prior to hire or transfer.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school required.
Experience:
- Professional licensure required at the time of hire.
- BSN or MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Behavioral Health nursing required.
- Experience in education, charge, or precepting preferred.
