Job Overview

This role is pivotal in providing the Finance Team and Executive Management with insights into the company's profitability and operational performance, emphasizing the success of strategic initiatives and investments. The position will oversee the Midwest Region and report directly to the Regional CFO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quantitative assessments of operational and financial data utilizing various tools and reports.
  • Generate financial documentation for internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluate historical financial data, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and propose actionable recommendations.
  • Gather, assess, and disseminate financial information.
  • Contribute to the development of budgets and forecasts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
  • Draft monthly analyses of financial outcomes and present reports to leadership.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial data for strategic planning.
  • Perform various ad hoc analyses for diverse stakeholders.
  • Monitor infrastructure funding levels and key economic indicators.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in fulfilling each essential duty effectively.

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution along with five (5) years of relevant experience or a combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience within the construction or building materials sector is preferred.

Work Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background checks is required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Adherence to safety protocols as outlined in the Employee Handbook is mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work remotely when necessary (less than 20% of the time).
  • Consistent and regular attendance is expected.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software (Word, Excel, Outlook) with a strong emphasis on Excel expertise.
  • Advanced financial acumen with the ability to interpret and utilize financial and mathematical data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior executives and operational leaders.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including project management capabilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Competence in summarizing data from various sources into clear, concise formats.
