Job Overview

As a Process Transfer Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Grasping and conveying optimal manufacturing practices at the facility while articulating essential requirements to the core project team to guarantee both manufacturability and scalability.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for Global Operations, ensuring that the needs of all Operations stakeholders (including Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Validation Engineering, Functional Leads, Quality, Validation, Planning, Procurement, Purchasing, and Label Control) are recognized and communicated throughout the transfer process.
  • Acquiring and implementing Technology Transfer standard procedures to perpetually enhance the transfer process.
  • Facilitating the application of project management methodologies to organize, monitor, and ensure the timely execution of transfer projects.
  • Over time, cultivating expertise in site manufacturing processes to advocate, instruct, and enhance Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the site, ensuring successful transfer activities from cost, quality, and delivery perspectives.

Qualifications for the Process Transfer Coordinator role include:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology or Life Sciences with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • A Master’s Degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology or Life Sciences with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated potential for technical skill, scientific innovation, teamwork, and independent thinking.
  • A foundational understanding of assay, bulk, and reagent manufacturing processes and design, along with the capability to apply scientific methods in relation to production.
  • Proficient technical writing skills for generating reports and documentation.
