Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process information from immigration officers for initial detainees' intake and maintenance.
  • Ensure detainees' well-being by handling personal property inventorying and tagging, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively in Spanish to facilitate effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Record welfare checks, conduct inspections, and input data into the system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Prepare and process administrative paperwork related to property and deportation, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
  • Enter data into the system, connect family units in e3, and manage property, conduct inventories, and perform roll calls to ensure efficient operations.
  • Update modules with assignments and custodial actions to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Basic Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in process coordination, immigration services, or a related field.
  • US Citizenship and residency for at least 3 out of the last 5 years.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Work Environment:
  • Work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
