Job Summary

The University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a full-time position as Chief of Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics. This role will report to the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics and will be responsible for leading the division in clinical, educational, and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serving as a key leader in the department, responsible for fiscal, grant, and budget management.
  • Maintaining a clinical practice in Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics and/or Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics.
  • Supporting education of residents and medical students, and providing mentorship to early career faculty.
  • Leading the division in successful resident training, evaluation of learners, and promotion.
  • Mentoring and sponsoring pediatric residents interested in a career in neurodevelopmental pediatrics.

Requirements
  • MD/DO degree and possession of or eligibility for a Florida Medical License in Pediatrics.
  • Board eligible or board certified in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.
