Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian I to join our team at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. As a Pediatric Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing nutrition care to patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nutrient intake analysis and assess nutritional needs of patients.
  • Develop and implement nutritional care plans for patients with HIV/AIDS.
  • Assess learning needs and readiness of patients and families, providing individualized nutrition information.
  • Participate in discharge planning and patient care conferences, following up on recommendations and care plans.
  • Consult and work with community resources, professional organizations, and other agencies to implement care plans.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or food service administration.
  • Completion of an American Dietetic Association-approved dietetic education program.
  • Licenses in Dietitian in accordance with Chapter 468, Florida Statutes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting and/or with HIV/AIDS population.
  • Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
