Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular patrols in designated areas to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security presence, ensuring the safety of the premises.
  • Respond to all communication from the team and collaborate effectively with loss prevention personnel.
  • Conduct hourly check-ins with the team to reinforce security measures.
  • Work closely with on-site staff to address any security issues and provide necessary support.
  • React swiftly to alarms or incidents, following established protocols to manage situations effectively.
  • Keep precise and thorough records of patrols, incidents, and activities throughout your shift.
  • Serve as a point of contact for visitors and staff, offering assistance and information as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a security role, particularly in environments with high theft rates and potential disturbances.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with excellent communication skills for effective de-escalation.
  • Possession of a valid CA BSIS Security Guard License.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as patrol vehicles are utilized.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable with technology, including surveillance systems and communication tools.
  • Capable of working independently and making informed decisions under pressure.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
