We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Hilton Grand Vacations. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our resort owners, guests, and team members.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency situations, such as fires, safety hazards, and threats to life and property.
- Patrol the interior and perimeter of the property to identify potential safety and security risks.
- Lead all aspects of communications and alarm systems, and coordinate maintenance of life safety equipment.
- Perform regular inspections of the property to prevent theft, embezzlement, vandalism, fire, and accidents.
- Investigate security incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities, and prepare detailed reports.
- Provide exceptional guest service, including answering inquiries, providing directions, and delivering packages.
- Perform basic first aid and CPR as needed.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in a customer service-focused security position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to acquire an Alcohol Awareness (TAM) card and Non-Gaming Sheriff's card upon hire.
- Prior experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Military or law enforcement background.
- Current First Aid/CPR certifications.
