About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources unit, you will be responsible for preparing job vacancy notices, maintaining personnel files, and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Prepare job vacancy notices and close them in NYCAPS and/or Smart Recruiters as needed
  • Maintain FISA-OPA Human Resources paper and electronic files
  • Perform various administrative tasks such as typing HR-related letters and reports, opening and distributing mail, making copies, and researching personnel issues
  • Schedule new hire review meetings and enter and update personnel transactions into NYCAPS
  • Assist with special projects and provide support to the Senior Director of Human Resources and Training and/or Director of Human Resources and HR staff

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, including one year of administrative supervisory experience.

Working Conditions:

This position is open to City employees who are permanent in the title of Principal Administrative Associate or who are permanent in a comparable title.

Salary: $P57 per hour (estimated annual salary: $93,840)
