Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships to expand our phlebotomy externship site inventory.
  • Preceptorship and Training: Provide hands-on training and mentorship in phlebotomy techniques and best practices to aspiring phlebotomists.
  • Site Acquisition: Acquire new externship sites and develop strategic plans to increase our presence in the LA area.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assess and evaluate learner performance, offering constructive feedback and guidance to ensure successful integration into the healthcare workforce.
Requirements:
  • Certification and licensure as a phlebotomist in the State of California.
  • Proven track record in business development and sales within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience in precepting, mentoring, or teaching with a passion for education and professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities with a focus on goal attainment and results-driven outcomes.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
Compensation and Schedule:

Non-exempt hourly temporary employee, $30-$35 per hour, no benefits. 40 hours per week, temporary, 90 days minimum with potential to extend.
