Medical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to represent our company, Primex Clinical Laboratories, Inc., in a professional and compassionate manner. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting high-quality blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients. You will work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing your expertise to create a positive and reassuring atmosphere for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Collect blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner.
- Administer oral solutions as required.
- Verify patient information and test orders using lab technology systems.
- Enter accurate data, including patient registration and test orders.
- Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, and freezing.
- Perform departmental-related clerical duties, such as inventory and stock supplies.
- Comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Assist with compilation and submission of monthly statistics and data.
- Participate in special projects and teams related to Primex.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric experience.
- Flexible and available based on staffing needs.
- Committed to Primex Clinical Laboratories, Inc. policies and procedures.
- Reliable transportation.
- Superior customer focus and ability to communicate openly and transparently.
