Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse First Assist RNFA PRN to join our team. As a RNFA, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons during operations, maintaining a sterile field, and providing equipment and supplies as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize aseptic technique to create and maintain a sterile field.
  • Plan and provide equipment and supplies based on patient and physician needs.
  • Assist surgeons during operations, demonstrating competency in perioperative nursing practice.
  • Promote cost containment while delivering quality patient care within the operating room.
  • Participate in on-call assignments and demonstrate flexibility to cover staffing as needed.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.
  • Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) certification.
  • Registered Nurse licensure.
