Account Manager II

ChampionX is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager II to join our team. As an Account Manager II, you will be responsible for managing a group of customers to achieve designated sales target levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop profitable business with new and existing customers
  • Manage a group of customers to achieve designated sales target levels
  • Responsible for the direct sales process, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales targets
  • Will introduce new products/services to clients and organize visits to current and potential clients
  • Submit short and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies utilizing available marketing programs to reach nominated targets
  • Responsible for retaining long-term customer relationships with established clients
  • Ensure that clients receive high quality customer service
  • Inform clients of new products and services as they are introduced
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or other relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience, preferably in the oilfield industry
  • Working knowledge of ESP sizing
  • Excellent customer relations skills including the ability to explain and train
  • Consistently demonstrate the following competencies: customer focus, time management, priority setting, problem solving, negotiation skills and decision quality
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and collaborate
  • Interact politely and professionally with customers and coworkers
  • Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively
  • Work in excess of 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, as required to meet business needs
  • Work under general supervision
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently
