Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with local leadership teams and participate in leadership committees as needed.
  • Conduct financial assessments and modeling to analyze the success of new initiatives and provide strategic recommendations for meeting financial objectives and budgetary goals.

  • Create analytical reports aimed at improving processes and enhancing operational efficiencies.
  • Act as a financial resource for clinical service line leaders.
  • Oversee the development of financial strategies, budgets, and support for month-end financial statement reviews and additional assistance as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the data lifecycle, including importing, exporting, cleaning, transforming, validating, and modeling data across various divisions within Shared Services.
  • Update and maintain Shared Services reports, analytical tools, and dashboards.
  • Generate and present both scheduled and ad-hoc reports, utilizing visual aids such as charts and graphs.
  • Work closely with the Central Team Finance Director to prioritize business needs and propose enhancements to operational and reporting processes.
  • Develop proficiency in software tools (e.g., Power Business Intelligence - PBI) to uphold best practices within Shared Services.
  • Oversee the submission and management of chart of accounts requests for Shared Services.
  • Play a crucial role in financial reporting application upgrades and optimization projects, collaborating with the IT team.
  • Share and implement best practices for data access, analysis, and dissemination.
  • Ensure data integrity by identifying and reconciling discrepancies across multiple reporting sources and conducting periodic audits to enhance data quality.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance.

Preferred:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience with financial data analysis, reporting, and proficiency in tools such as PBI, databases, SQL, and Excel.
  • Certifications such as Certified Public Accountant, HMFA, or FACHE are advantageous.
