Job Title: Director of Financial Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Financial Operations to join our team at Puget Sound Educational Service District. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and support to our school districts and agency administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage contracts with districts to provide fiscal support and business management services.
  • Analyze and create training models and programs to support district staff.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting processes and procedures.
  • Provide technical expertise and direction to school districts and agency administration.
  • Reconcile fiscal information and ensure compliance with accounting practices.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Accounting or related field.
  • 5 years of school district finance/accounting/budgeting experience.
  • Knowledge of Washington State School District Accounting Manual rules and regulations.
  • Senior level supervisory/management experience.
  • Experience in training models for adult learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and/or databases.
  • Knowledge of GAAP Principles.
