Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to target deadlines for responses, quotes, and other critical communications.
  • Identify and propose initiatives aimed at improving productivity and reducing costs, collaborating with our manufacturing teams to implement these strategies.
  • Participate in discussions with Program Managers regarding the development and execution of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and feasibility assessments.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing support teams to address product process challenges, ensuring a thorough understanding of both existing and potential product lines.
  • Maintain and update pricing records, forecasts, and other essential commercial documentation as required.
  • Address financial matters related to pricing and tooling for assigned accounts, ensuring all purchase orders are processed and billed appropriately.
  • Conduct market research to maintain competitive pricing analysis and benchmarking data.
  • Provide sales and production insights to assist in budget formulation and forecasting.
  • Contribute to the development of presentations and the negotiation of contracts.
  • Support the Quality Department in addressing any commercial issues linked to assembly plants or warranty matters.
  • Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Research and recommend professional development opportunities, such as technical training and seminars, to enhance job performance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role, ideally within the American automotive market.
  • Familiarity with OEM automotive systems and applications.
  • Strong negotiation, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and presentation preparation.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A collaborative team player capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of commitment, sound judgment, and initiative.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
