Job Description

Matthews Kia of Cartersville is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Team Member to join our team. This role involves monitoring internet leads, phone calls, and following up on unsold opportunities. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and be customer service-oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and contact internet leads from our dealer website, manufacturer, and third-party sites.
  • Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
  • Learn, understand, and adhere to call and email scripts.
  • Set and confirm appointments, while following up with every shown or missed appointment.
  • Meet with the General Manager and Sales Managers regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis of dealership and department.
  • Generate repeat business by reaching out to current customers and ensuring overall complete satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with customers according to their preferred method of communication.
  • Maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business.
  • Ensure the office maintains daily call and appointment quota.

This role requires a clear understanding and focus on training and development with the BDC reps and sales team, while assisting in creating a culture centered around appointment setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate great communication skills and the ability to advance the sales process with our guests, while working closely with the Matthews Kia Sales Team.
