Job Summary

The Nicklaus Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nephrologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care to pediatric patients with kidney-related conditions. You will work closely with other specialists, including pediatric urologists, rheumatologists, and neurologists, to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat pediatric patients with kidney-related conditions, including acute and chronic kidney disease
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and renal replacement therapy
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Participate in teaching and supervision of medical residents and students
  • Contribute to research and publishing in the field of pediatric nephrology
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school
  • Current state medical license and in good standing with medical board
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Exceptional clinical, research, and teaching skills
  • Ability to relate cooperatively and constructively with patients, families, and co-workers
