Job Overview

BB BHF STORES LLC is seeking a highly skilled Credit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, the Credit Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire and maintain customers through effective communication and relationship-building
  • Manage customer accounts, including resolving issues and negotiating payment plans
  • Assist in managing store personnel, including directing activities and providing guidance
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local statutes
  • Prepare and review store reports, including financial and operational data
  • Document all customer commitments and maintain accurate records
  • Manage inventory and cash assets, including ordering and receiving merchandise
  • Prepare daily work schedules, delivery schedules, and assign tasks to ensure efficient store operations
  • Perform other duties as necessary to ensure effective store management
Requirements
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Established collection and negotiation skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficient in POS system and other relevant software
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in person and over the phone
  • Must have proficient navigational skills and a satisfactory driving record
  • Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates
Education and Experience

Two years of experience in a related field, such as Rent-to-Own, retail, or other business emphasizing customer service, account management, sales, and merchandising.

Physical Requirements

The position requires lifting, loading, moving, and using a dolly for merchandise, as well as stooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching, and grabbing as required. The ability to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliance, and electronics is also necessary. Prolonged driving and standing are also required. The ability to work in and outdoors in a variety of climates and weather conditions is essential.
