Chicago, Illinois, United States Chicago Public Schools Full time

Organization Overview:

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) stands as one of the largest educational systems in the United States, catering to over 320,000 learners across more than 600 institutions and employing nearly 40,000 staff members, predominantly educators. CPS is dedicated to achieving ambitious objectives to guarantee that every student, in every institution and community, receives a premier educational experience that equips them for success in higher education, career paths, and civic engagement. To fulfill this mission, CPS commits to three core principles: academic advancement, financial sustainability, and ethical conduct. Six fundamental values underpin these commitments: student focus, holistic development, equity, academic excellence, community collaboration, and ongoing learning.

CPS operates its district-run schools through 18 networks, including a newly established Option High School Network. This network provides administrative assistance, strategic guidance, and leadership development tailored to the specific needs of schools within each network. The support model is designed to address the unique requirements of CPS Option High Schools and their leaders, focusing exclusively on those needs. The Options Network oversees, authorizes, and manages a diverse portfolio of district, charter, contract, and ALOP schools and programs, serving approximately 6,000 students.
