Job Overview

Controls Technician

Automationtechies is in search of a skilled and dedicated Controls Technician to enhance our innovative workforce. This position focuses on industrial automation systems, ensuring optimal and secure functionality. Responsibilities include interpreting control schematics, conducting testing and commissioning, and formulating energization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret control schematics, wiring diagrams, and relay layouts accurately.
  • Guarantee the precise and safe operation of all field-testing apparatus.
  • Collaborate with teams to plan and execute testing and commissioning of systems and equipment.
  • Perform thorough point-to-point checks alongside pre-functional and functional assessments.
  • Design and execute energization strategies effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proficient troubleshooting abilities with a focus on safety while utilizing both basic and advanced testing tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team environment.
