Position Title: Controls Commissioning Engineer

Position Overview: Actalent is seeking skilled controls technicians to contribute to a commissioning and validation initiative for a Controls Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). This role is centered around the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily operational meetings.
  • Assist in Commissioning and Qualification Activities.
  • Implement redline changes as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems.
  • Collaborate with Automation Engineers and System Owners.
  • Provide support for Vision systems (Cognex).

Work Schedule: This position operates Monday through Friday, with standard hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, totaling 45 hours per week.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controls Technician.
  • Proven experience in equipment commissioning.
  • Experience with IO Check Out procedures.

Contract Details: This is a contract role with a duration of 6 months.

Work Environment: The position is based in a highly sanitized pharmaceutical setting.
