Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Head for Baseball to lead our baseball program at The Archdiocese of Seattle. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program that aligns with our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the baseball program, including team building, scheduling, and budget management.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of coaches and staff to support the program.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, colleges, and community organizations to promote the program and secure resources.
  • Manage the program budget, including uniforms, equipment, and travel expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to safety, equity, and inclusion.
  • Represent The Archdiocese of Seattle at local, regional, and national events, promoting the program and the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in baseball coaching and program management, attending conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Deep knowledge and experience in baseball coaching and program management.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective programs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Catholic, Jesuit institution or organization.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Jesuit education and values.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including students, staff, and community members.
  • Ability to speak and write in multiple languages, including English and Spanish.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $8,705 - $14,020 annually. This position is not benefits eligible.
