Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Scale Assistant to join our Ag Retail group within our grain facility. The Scale Assistant plays a crucial role in interacting with customers and managing documentation for incoming and outgoing products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accurately weigh and grade grain for all inbound and outbound trucks using both manual and computerized measurement tools.
2. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously.
3. Answer phone calls in a timely manner and direct them as necessary.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
5. Collaborate with team members as required.
6. Uphold a strong safety culture by adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify workplace hazards and communicate them effectively to ensure a safe working environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- 0-6+ months of experience in Operations, Business Operations, or Customer Service.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays during peak periods.
