Insurance Business Development Representative

Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is estimated at $50,000 per year, with additional commission and bonus opportunities. As an employee of Eddie Martimen - State Farm Agent, you will also receive health benefits, paid time off, and valuable experience.
Job DescriptionThis role involves building and developing customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products. Responsibilities include establishing customer relationships, providing prompt and accurate customer service, using a customer-focused review process to educate customers about insurance options, working with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, developing leads, scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, and marketing appropriate products and services.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have sales experience, preferably outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing. A successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas is preferred. You should also be enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage risks, recover from unexpected events, and realize their dreams. Organizational skills, self-motivation, detail orientation, proactive problem-solving, dedication to customer service, and experience in computer applications, particularly Windows, are essential.
Bilingual RequirementPreferrable bilingual candidates will have an advantage in this role. Additionally, property and casualty license and life and health license are required.
