Position Overview

SAIC is in search of a Systems Architecture SETA to play a pivotal role in a significant program. This position involves providing essential support to the technical and acquisition aspects of the organization, ensuring the delivery of effective solutions tailored to mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate critical architecture and system-level options.
  • Analyze the performance of existing and prospective architectural designs.
  • Offer technical and programmatic advice regarding architecture and system-level requirements.
  • Prepare presentations for high-level decision-makers.
  • Engage regularly with internal teams, government representatives, and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaborative workshops and technical discussions among senior leaders and technical teams to align on strategic vision and program direction.
  • Develop and implement analytical tools to assess strategic concepts impacting solution designs regarding cost, schedule, performance, and risk management.
  • Provide insights on the enterprise architecture landscape, covering technology, data, security, and integration.
  • Create technology strategy documents to mitigate risks and address technology deficiencies.
  • Formulate comprehensive architecture strategies and roadmaps.
  • Build relationships with developers to gain insights into network challenges and effectively communicate technical issues to executives.
  • Act as a trusted intermediary to resolve technical challenges among developers, stakeholders, and program leadership.
  • Advise on the development of scalable software architecture that meets data distribution needs.
  • Enhance data management across systems and improve performance metrics.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and assess scalability benchmarks.
  • Support systems engineering throughout the program lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with nine (9) years of relevant experience; Master's degree with seven (7) years; or PhD/JD with four (4) years of relevant experience. Relevant experience may substitute for degree requirements.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in data architecture and solution development, with a solid understanding of Systems Engineering and Acquisition processes.
  • Strong familiarity with enterprise network engineering and operations.
  • Knowledge of various computing environments, including Linux, Windows, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
  • Project management expertise to facilitate cloud migrations and system integrations.
  • Understanding of Agile Project Management methodologies.
  • Excellent customer service and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Proven adaptability to changing priorities.
