About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Strategic Alliance Consulting, Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for guiding the development of complex systems and ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of system development projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize system requirements, and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture and design documents, ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and mitigate system risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Develop and implement system testing and quality assurance processes, ensuring that systems meet the required standards.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize system enhancements, and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and system architecture diagrams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 12-18 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on complex system development and integration.
  • Proven track record of leading system development projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles, and experience developing and maintaining system architecture and design documents.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate system risks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.
  • INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering.
  • Experience with software development frameworks and agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of system security and compliance requirements, and experience developing and implementing system security and compliance processes.
