Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Marketing to lead our marketing initiatives in various markets, including Orlando. The ideal candidate will possess a strong business acumen, exceptional strategic planning capabilities, and a deep understanding of Timeshare/Vacation Ownership Sales & Marketing. Proven leadership experience is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to develop, execute, and oversee marketing business plans.
  • Work alongside the SVP of Marketing to pinpoint areas for enhancement and implement industry best practices.
  • Engage with site and regional sales leadership to analyze performance metrics, focusing on increasing tour production and financial outcomes.
  • Effectively train and inspire new marketing personnel, including supervisors and managers.
  • Provide guidance to site and regional Marketing leadership on the rollout of new initiatives and processes.
  • Partner with Area Senior Leadership in reviewing marketing submissions, analyzing compensation plans, and conducting marketing-related analytics.
  • Foster a positive work environment by upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity in line with regulatory requirements and corporate values.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a marketing leadership role within the timeshare or vacation ownership sector.
  • Strong professional communication skills for engaging with diverse clients and team members.
  • Background in customer service and adept problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in vendor relations and negotiation.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on enhancing business processes.
  • Extensive knowledge in evaluating and reporting on marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed budgetary goals.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-resolution skills.
