We're seeking a skilled Housing Case Manager to join our team and support newcomer populations in finding temporary and permanent housing.

Job Summary

The Housing Case Manager will be responsible for coordinating housing referrals, conducting community outreach, and building relationships with landlords and property managers. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including refugee sponsors, government agencies, and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct community outreach to build relationships with potential landlords and property managers
  • Maintain positive relationships with landlords, owners, and property management companies
  • Educate landlords and property managers on CWS resettlement program
  • Develop and maintain a housing resources guide
  • Coordinate housing referrals with the case management team
  • Oversee direct housing assistance and Airbnb funds
  • Work with the Resettlement Outreach/In-kind Case Manager, Regional Volunteer Coordinator, and case management teams to provide clients with furniture, household supplies, and in-kind donations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with refugee or immigrant-related services, or in community housing
  • Highly organized, self-starter with strong verbal, written, presentation, and training skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including computer experience and marketing, social media, and public relations
  • Spanish and/or Haitian Creole language fluency required
