Solar Energy Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Solar Energy Consultant to join our team at Sunrun. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for generating sales leads and presenting our solar products and services to potential customers in their homes.
Your primary focus will be on building genuine relationships with customers, understanding their energy needs, and qualifying them as viable candidates for our solar solutions. If you enjoy face-to-face interaction, engaging with customers, and working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally to address customer needs. They will also possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with the ability to pass a driving background check.
Key Responsibilities- Develop effective sales strategies and lead generation techniques to meet or exceed sales targets
- Provide an exceptional customer experience from initial contact through installation and beyond
- Conduct in-home sales presentations and evaluate customer knowledge and needs
- Manage the pipeline of activity from prospect to install, following up on leads and consultations
- Accurately report outcomes via our CRM tool and maintain accurate records
- Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, preferably with in-home sales experience
- Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Willingness to spend time traveling within local markets, depending on business needs and sales model
- Intermediate comfort level with technology, including IPAD/computer and multiple software applications
- Competitive salary range: $50,000 - $111,800 per annum
- Annual bonus eligibility based on company and individual performance
