Solar Energy Specialist

Position Overview:
Solar Alternatives is a pioneering energy management and solar contractor dedicated to empowering individuals to transition into the rapidly growing clean energy sector. As a Solar Installer, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and modifications on existing energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in solar energy systems, electrical services, and microgrids, applying your strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Engage with clients to upsell additional services, enhancing their energy solutions and contributing to the company's growth.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in construction-related fields or a related field, with a passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities, backed by a foundation in electrical and mechanical knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively interact with clients and colleagues, presenting a professional image.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- The ability to ascend tall ladders and work safely on steep rooftops, adhering to safety protocols.
- A clean driving record and valid license, allowing you to operate various service vehicles.
- Proficiency in using personal electrical hand tools and basic cordless tools, as well as a willingness to undergo background checks.
- Flexibility in working a standard 40-50 hour workweek, with occasional flexibility as needed.
- Previous sales experience is advantageous, but not mandatory.
