Commercial Painting Sales Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Painting Sales Associate to join our team at CertaPro Painters of Plainfield, IL. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with property managers, facility managers, and industrial customers to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Associate, Production Associate, and Job Site Supervisor to ensure project expectations are met and customer needs are exceeded.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals to customers to secure sales commitments.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Estimator to perform estimates and meet with customers to discuss project details.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or sales.
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B commercial sales, preferably in the painting or construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
  • Working knowledge of paints, coatings, carpentry, drywall, EIFS, DRYVIT, and construction, with the ability to communicate technical information to customers.
