Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enhancing student communication and language skills in an educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders, and develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with educators, parents, and professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, monitoring progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • IEP Support: Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expertise and support to teachers and other professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current licensure in the state of New Jersey.
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in speech therapy, with a preference for school-based experience.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and professionals.
  • Assessment and Intervention Skills: Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques to address speech and language disorders.
  • IEP Development and Implementation: Understanding of IEP development and implementation, with the ability to contribute to this process.
