Key Responsibilities:
1) Join our dedicated team focused on enriching the student experience through the development of welcoming environments, promoting overall well-being, and delivering outstanding services and facilities.
2) Report directly to the Housekeeping Manager in a full-time capacity, contributing to our mission.
3) Oversee both routine and specialized housekeeping tasks to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and visual appeal across all designated areas. This role includes acting as a liaison between management and housekeeping staff, assuming supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor, and assisting in the coordination of event setups as required.
4) Take advantage of professional development opportunities aimed at career advancement within our organization.
5) Enjoy a competitive salary range of $32,500-$35,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, tuition assistance, and various discounts.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills for effective interaction with a diverse population.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning methods, tools, and safety protocols.
- Physical capability to perform various tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs, and operating cleaning equipment safely.
- Proven ability to lead and manage the work of others, making sound decisions independently.
- This position requires availability during emergencies and unexpected closures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cleaning institutional or commercial spaces.
- Supervisory experience and knowledge of safety regulations.
- Basic computer proficiency is advantageous.
Additional Information:
- A criminal background check and a driver's license verification are mandatory.
- Work schedule includes evenings and weekends.
