POSITION TITLE: Art Production Manager

DEPARTMENT: Art

REPORTS TO: Vice President, Operations

GENERAL OVERVIEW

The Art Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all functions within the art department, ensuring that departmental objectives and timelines are achieved effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct a team of art production professionals to ensure timely project completion.
  • Evaluate and refine processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Guide, develop, and empower team members.
  • Encourage a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Engage with artists and various departments on a daily basis.
  • Review work for accuracy and quality.
  • Create graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company branding, and online platforms.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints.
  • Monitor project progress and provide weekly updates.
  • Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and the art team.
  • Proactively address art and technical challenges.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new art production personnel.
  • Assist the team with art production tasks as needed.
  • Identify and resolve potential issues related to art production.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in art, design, or a related discipline.

Core Competencies:

  1. Minimum of 5 years in art production or a similar field.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in a management or leadership role.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proficient in technical tools such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with excellent conceptual skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong proofreading capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Results-oriented with strong organizational skills and prioritization abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage expectations.

WORK SCHEDULE: Regular full-time | Monday – Friday | 8 am – 5 pm

SALARY RANGE: $62,000 - $69,000 annually

WORK LOCATION: On-site
