Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Applications Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced applications for our global manufacturer specializing in highly engineered, mission-critical flow control products.

About the Role:

As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the areas of Flow Control, Pump Systems, Auto Cad, Machine Design, Pressure product, and Process Engineering. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new applications, work closely with customers to understand their needs, and ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of advanced applications.
  • Provide technical expertise in the areas of Flow Control, Pump Systems, Auto Cad, Machine Design, Pressure product, and Process Engineering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new applications.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and translate them into application requirements.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including project plans, specifications, and test plans.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Applications Engineer, Lead Mechanical Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong experience with Flow Control, Pump Systems, Auto Cad, Machine Design, Pressure product, and Process Engineering.
  • Proficiency in 3D Printing and Valves.
  • Experience with Customer Interfacing and ability to translate technical language to lay audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • High level of self-motivation, drive, and willingness to learn new skills.
