Amazon Devices is seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineering Leader to drive innovation in manufacturing automation design, including robotics, vision systems, and mobile transport. As a key member of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle of innovative programs aimed at improving the efficiency and lowering the cost of Amazon's next-generation device postponement operations.

Key responsibilities include leading the effective and efficient design and delivery of complex manufacturing automation for new Amazon Devices, working across all engineering disciplines. You will interact with key stakeholders to define and deliver against project goals, including both technical and operational deliverables. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to support extensible solution development and integration.

A successful Automation Engineering Leader will have experience with complex system design, including experience integrating hardware and software deliverables. They will drive consensus on technical decisions and ensure the appropriate resources are employed to deliver high-quality results.

Some of the key qualifications for this role include:

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience in hands-on work managing complex technology projects

This is a senior-level position with a salary range of $135,900 - $234,900 per year, based on a number of factors including market location. The position will remain posted until filled.
