Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D team in Monroe, CT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products and supporting their rapid prototyping.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop new products and prototypes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products to technology readiness
- Apply manufacturing principles and stock allowance standards to create in-process manufacturing drawings
- Evaluate new customer designs and engage in Design for Manufacturability feedback
- Participate in customer discussion for new concept development

Requirements:

- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related fields required
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong background with CAD in 2D and 3D environments
- Mature knowledge of Geometric Tolerancing and practical application
- Working knowledge of Finite element analysis (FEA)
