Role Summary:
We are in search of a skilled Imaging Engineer with a specialization in CT technology to become a part of our team. This role involves the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of CT imaging systems, ensuring their optimal functionality. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to guarantee that our imaging systems deliver high-quality results, ultimately supporting patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, calibrate, and service CT imaging systems.
  • Conduct inspections and repairs on various radiology imaging equipment, with a focus on CT technology.
  • Quickly diagnose and resolve CT equipment issues using remote diagnostics and testing protocols.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to uphold equipment reliability and adhere to OEM standards.
  • Utilize a variety of tools and technical documentation to execute maintenance and repairs.
  • Engage with healthcare professionals to assess their imaging requirements and provide specialized technical support.
  • Stay informed about advancements in the industry and implement best practices in CT system management.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Consult with medical staff to ensure the proper and safe operation of equipment, leveraging knowledge of electronics and medical terminology.
  • Provide demonstrations and training to medical personnel on the correct use of CT systems.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance aligns with current OEM specifications to meet safety and performance standards.
  • Perform additional modality-specific tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of CT systems.
  • Strong technical acumen and familiarity with CT imaging technology.
  • Proficient in remote diagnostics and the use of testing tools.
  • Experience with CT systems from various manufacturers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to various healthcare facilities.
