Role Summary:
We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to become part of our team. This position entails the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of advanced cardiovascular imaging systems. You will work in collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure the optimal functionality of imaging equipment, thereby supporting superior patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain cardiovascular imaging systems.
- Conduct inspections, diagnostics, calibrations, and repairs on various imaging devices from leading manufacturers.
- Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues utilizing remote diagnostics and testing protocols.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to guarantee equipment reliability and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Employ power tools and measuring instruments, along with service documentation, to execute maintenance and repairs.
- Engage with healthcare professionals to assess their imaging requirements and provide tailored technical support.
- Stay informed about industry advancements and integrate best practices in imaging equipment management.
- Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Consult with medical staff to ensure equipment operates safely and effectively, leveraging knowledge of electronics and medical terminology.
- Demonstrate equipment operation to medical personnel and provide training on proper usage and care.
- Ensure preventive maintenance aligns with current manufacturer specifications to uphold safety and performance standards.
- Execute modality-specific tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 7 years in the maintenance and repair of cardiovascular imaging systems.
- Strong technical acumen and familiarity with imaging systems.
- Proficient in remote diagnostics, testing protocols, and the use of power tools.
- Experience with systems from leading manufacturers; familiarity with GE systems is advantageous.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel to various healthcare facilities as necessary.
