Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of imaging procedures, including ultrasound and portable exams, to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
- Accurately follow physician orders and document the completion of exams in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.
- Follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
