The Affiliate Management team at Bright Health plays a crucial role in fostering long-term strategic growth, nurturing relationships, and ensuring contractual performance with our clients, which include affiliate providers and medical groups. Through diverse partnership models, our team is committed to supporting providers in a value-based care environment.

The Market Success Manager for ACO partners, including ACO REACH, is an integral member of the Affiliate Management team, reporting directly to the Director of Market Success. This position is pivotal in supporting the ongoing implementation and performance of our managed services business and partnerships with affiliate physicians across multiple markets.

By collaborating with various internal teams, including Operations, Clinical, Analytics, Contracting, and Finance, this role will monitor and evaluate partner performance against value-based care contracts, SLAs, and KPIs, while developing the necessary infrastructure to ensure strategic alignment between Bright Health and our clinics and affiliated providers.

This position will focus on managing partnerships and clients with an emphasis on performance management, working closely with internal teams to oversee the performance of ACO partners and their value-based contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of each assigned partner's operations and structure from implementation through ongoing management.
  • Act as the primary liaison for daily communications between Bright Health and assigned affiliate providers and local clinical support teams.
  • Analyze financial, utilization, and population health data to generate actionable insights for local clinical and outreach initiatives.
  • Organize and prepare for regularly scheduled Joint Operations Committee meetings.
  • Facilitate clinical integration activities between affiliate providers and Bright Health.
  • Serve as the communication channel for all network activities with Bright Health on behalf of affiliate providers, including risk adjustment and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Encourage and coordinate leadership interactions between affiliate providers and Bright Health.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience managing provider or payer entities in value-based contracts, including ACO experience.
  • Strong understanding of value-based care reimbursement principles, reporting, and analytics.
  • Experience in managing value-based payer contracts and/or delegated services is preferred.
  • Experience working directly with providers and clinics in delegated service models is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with quality gap closure initiatives and clinic settings is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential; experience with Power BI is preferred.
