Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a new business sales strategy that identifies potential clients aligning with MindgruveMacarta's service offerings and goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with past and prospective clients, key stakeholders, and decision-makers.
- Generate and oversee a robust sales pipeline to ensure a steady stream of new business opportunities.
- Meet and exceed business development targets as outlined in the performance plan (quarterly and annual new business quotas).
- Formulate detailed strategies for how MindgruveMacarta can capture new business opportunities and client successes at industry events and conferences.
- Encourage a collaborative and high-performance culture, fostering teamwork and innovation.
- Work with internal teams to create compelling presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with key platform partners such as Google, Amazon, Walmart, Meta, and Salesforce to drive channel sales leads.
- Act as the primary sales lead for MindgruveMacarta by prospecting, conducting thorough needs assessments, and meticulously managing opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver timely pitches and proposals tailored to each prospect's unique requirements.
- Ensure proposals and new client Statements of Work (SOWs) are internally vetted to guarantee client profitability.
- Continuously engage with internal teams to assess the sales process, identify gaps, streamline communications, and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Stay informed on industry trends and relay new insights to leadership that could be leveraged to expand new business.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years of sales and prospecting experience in a mid to large-sized digital marketing and/or retail media agency is preferred.
- Proven ability to successfully establish an agency's new business practice for performance marketing and/or retail media, including marketplaces (such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.).
- Comfortable communicating and presenting to C-suite executives, with expertise in all facets of performance marketing and retail media, capable of managing complex client relationships.
- Experience collaborating with internal teams to estimate budgets, allocate resources, and facilitate new client onboarding with the account management team.
- Understanding of a wide array of performance marketing channels, including paid, owned, and earned platforms, with a preference for social media platforms.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to comprehend client needs and market dynamics.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Proficient in Hubspot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, or similar CRM software.
- Experience with Mac and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.) is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Pages) is required.
- Highly proficient in meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
