Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team at Intermountain Medical Center. As a Senior Clinical Nurse Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and leading our Same Day Surgery department to excellence.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week with an estimated salary range of $43.98 - $63.79 per hour, dependent on experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and clinical expertise, with a proven track record of improving patient outcomes and enhancing staff satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Same Day Surgery department, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
  2. Clinical Expertise: Utilize your advanced clinical knowledge and skills to provide guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive evidence-based care.
  3. Quality Improvement: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to enhance patient safety, quality, and experience.
  4. Staff Development: Foster a culture of learning and growth among nursing staff, providing opportunities for professional development and advancing their skills and competencies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution;
  • Current RN license in the state of practice;
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers;
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience;
  • Demonstrated nursing experience in assigned clinical area.
